“Magical Day” Greeting Card

I’m a part-time art vendor at local events, and greeting cards make up a large part of my sales. I prefer to create multi-occasion blank cards. As someone who can sometimes forget to pick up cards for specific events, I find having a card that can apply to a lot of holidays the most appealing!

The focus of this card is the hand-lettering. It swirls and swoops like smoke in a crystal ball. The shape of the wizard mirrors the serifs and curves of the lettering, creating unity between the positive and negative space.
