Backyard Birds

My backyard is full of different and interesting birds. There are all sorts of amazing birds to see if you take a second and look for them.

I am interested in creating work about small adventures that can be taken in everyday life, like birdwatching from your patio. This piece pushed the sense of adventure and mystery with the knight in the foreground, hiding behind a bush.

I pushed simplified shapes and textures to focus on the different kinds of birds. This piece was designed to be risograph printed as well, which lends itself well to simple shapes and textures.
